I. Love. Utah!!!!
With mi brother, Russ, tree hunting for Christmas. This loverly piece of joy is now literally hanging in our dorm up in Logan ha ha
So excited to spend break with these little pals of mine!
Along with burning most of our food, we have acquired the tradition of getting locked out of our dorm ha ha adventure days :)
Sars and I started a major water fight in our dorm! There may have even been a mini waterfall down the fire escape stairs ha ha ha :)
One morning I woke up to a major crash and then Sars panicked "Annie! Annie!" calling ha ha
I'm sure you guys all know this but Steven got his call!! Antofagasta Chile, March 27th!!! I truly am SO excited for him! He's going to be such an incredible missionary.
With the end of the semester come the move-age out of some great neighbors and a great roommate. I really feel so blessed to have been surrounded by wonderful friends. I was a bit nervous at the beginning of the semester but I can really feel Heavenly Father's hand in my life and I know He's watching out for me. I love these people.
With the combined efforts of Sars and Chris (our other roommate), Steven surprised me this last week by coming a couple hours earlier than expected ha ha he scared me so bad as he hid in a box that only half way held him (the blanket on top of him covered the rest). I walked into my dark room to 'turn off my alarm' as Chris had asked me to do only to find a huge moving something ha ha turned out to be Steven Man...love these surprises :)
Ski season is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy happy happy happy happy happy HAPPY JOY!!!! I AM LOVING IT!!! :D
Steven hadn't been skiing for 10 years and it had only been his fourth-ish time up ha ha he was a champ though! The first run was really funny, not gonna lie. We started down the main run and the only instruction I gave him was "Pizza pie to go slow and french fries to go fast." He started to head down and got going faster and faster, loosing more and more control. I was yelling "Stop! Stop!" but then realized I hadn't even told him how ha ha ha He looked back at me with this look of true fear and then crashed into the powder ha ha ha! We both laughed pretty hard :) After that test run he caught on pretty quick and we had a blast the whole day. He really is so much fun!
I dropped him off at the airport on Sunday to head back home to Washington and it was really a bummer. I'm going to miss being around him...BUT he is coming back for sure at the end of February and maybe some time in January which will be exciting :)
I am so excited for this Christmas time and can't wait to see you girls! Love you all :)
