Say-Rah

Figured it was time to post.

Just chillin. I'm absolutely loving my new classes (most of which are about the environment, but also yoga and African dance), loving my roommates (Anns is so good), loving life.

I'm going back to Kenya next summer [insert infinity exclamation marks]

I got a pair of snowshoes for Christmas. Love.

I sawr the wondrous, long-awaited Hobbit, and once in 3D, which was very weird, but cool.

Yes, Jacoby and I are dating, as was discussed at the girl's night. He's fun.

I love my family so much. Joel is still struggling, but I suppose it is a trial that is strengthening our family and testing us as well. Burdens can be so incredibly torturous, especially when you watch a beloved friend suffer without having the ability to help. Yet trials are such blessings, eh? My mom texted me yesterday and said that after a long struggle of "I want..." "I want...", he finally got out, "I want Sarah." Then my mom said, "You love her, don't you?" and he said, "I do." Then he said, "Sarah's coming!" and she explained to him that I was in Logan. So that did what it did to my heart.

I love Jesus Christ. What a gift He has given us, one which is incomprehensible and of such depth I cannot imagine standing before Him without falling to the Earth in tremors of gratitude and smallness.
New Year's Resolution: try to live up to my daily potential, for Him. Tough, I know, but if you strive for perfection, I guess you can only mess up so much, and will affect many people on this good Earth.

Peace

Lovin livin it

Merry Christmas guys and happy December :) I hope all is swell with everyone! Here's an update from A days and I'm really excited to see you guys this break! :)

I. Love. Utah!!!!

With mi brother, Russ, tree hunting for Christmas. This loverly piece of joy is now literally hanging in our dorm up in Logan ha ha

So excited to spend break with these little pals of mine!

Along with burning most of our food, we have acquired the tradition of getting locked out of our dorm ha ha adventure days :)

Sars and I started a major water fight in our dorm! There may have even been a mini waterfall down the fire escape stairs ha ha ha :)

One morning I woke up to a major crash and then Sars panicked "Annie! Annie!" calling ha ha

I'm sure you guys all know this but Steven got his call!! Antofagasta Chile, March 27th!!! I truly am SO excited for him! He's going to be such an incredible missionary.

With the end of the semester come the move-age out of some great neighbors and a great roommate. I really feel so blessed to have been surrounded by wonderful friends. I was a bit nervous at the beginning of the semester but I can really feel Heavenly Father's hand in my life and I know He's watching out for me. I love these people.

With the combined efforts of Sars and Chris (our other roommate), Steven surprised me this last week by coming a couple hours earlier than expected ha ha he scared me so bad as he hid in a box that only half way held him (the blanket on top of him covered the rest). I walked into my dark room to 'turn off my alarm' as Chris had asked me to do only to find a huge moving something ha ha turned out to be Steven Man...love these surprises :)

Ski season is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy happy happy happy happy happy HAPPY JOY!!!! I AM LOVING IT!!! :D

Steven hadn't been skiing for 10 years and it had only been his fourth-ish time up ha ha he was a champ though! The first run was really funny, not gonna lie. We started down the main run and the only instruction I gave him was "Pizza pie to go slow and french fries to go fast." He started to head down and got going faster and faster, loosing more and more control. I was yelling "Stop! Stop!" but then realized I hadn't even told him how ha ha ha He looked back at me with this look of true fear and then crashed into the powder ha ha ha! We both laughed pretty hard :) After that test run he caught on pretty quick and we had a blast the whole day. He really is so much fun!

I dropped him off at the airport on Sunday to head back home to Washington and it was really a bummer. I'm going to miss being around him...BUT he is coming back for sure at the end of February and maybe some time in January which will be exciting :)

I am so excited for this Christmas time and can't wait to see you girls! Love you all :)

But that doesn't make it less sexy.

So what if I'm a nerd. And one of the best days of my month consisted of a book sale.

Self-explanatory.

Had a nice night at de temp  □.

Honestly breathtaking.

Not just the sight, but all of the knowledge associated with that building. And that I get to enter within months.

Life-ing

Hey, so I guess it's been awhile since my last post. Well, life is wonderful. Happy days.
Since my last post, I have...

KISSED a guy I've dreamed would like me for a long time....I know, unexpected...
....this guy....
[the wolf]
(Lex knew I was going to say that before I said it, Meg was wondering if I was serious, K&A were wide-eyed, Annie was like whatever, and Cand, if she reads these, was skeptical but slightly unsure),
chilled with the Navajo and built a sheep shelter (amazing),
hugged a tree (weird I know),
seen Cand get her call and said au revoir to Wade,
made Joel laugh and talk with Lex and had many a fun day with that woman,
been preparing for a mission,
gone to see Kalai, who is 5000000x better live than recorded,
voted for the first time and seen our president be reelected,
been missing Kenya, especially Emily, so much I might explode,

and taken apart a microwave to save a box elder bug with my friend Jacoby.
(:
Habbugoodday.

Dinner in a pumpkin and Frankenstein rice krispies for Halloween

Miss you:)

Hey Girls!!
So I miss you all so much!! I know I go to school with most of you, but I just don't see you enough!!  I am so excited for all of you that are planning on serving missions! How exciting and special.  At the moment I don't feel like I should go on a mission, but I guess that can always change later on.  I did change my major to Elementary Education though.  I am so excited about it!! I can't wait to spend my life teaching little kids, well at least until I have my own kids.  :)
So this past weekend Annelise and I ran the Halloween Half Marathon in Provo.  It was such a blast!! We felt good the entire time and we got the best time that we have ever gotten.  We were very excited.  I am really wanting to run a marathon before I get married.  Maybe I will start working on that sometime soon... :) hahaha
Well I love all of you!! Hopefully we can get together soon and maybe go to dinner or something... over Christmas break. :)
