Title

Oh dear. I miss you guys. ):;lkjhgfc
(Shoot. That ^ was me trying to catch the fly that landed on the keyboard. BLAST. It just landed on my hand. It's mocking me).

ANYway.

I have the lamest life ever right now, so we'll spare you the details on that. But I just had a funny thing happen that I figured would be alright to share on here:

About two weeks ago, I got a text from an unknown number that read: "Looks like a nice day." I'm not often contacted by random numbers and had no idea who it could be, so I replied, "May I ask who this is?" Come to find out, the mystery person is none other than Douglas Glenn Richins. He had accidentally replied to everyone whom to Candace had sent a picture message. (Is that sentence grammatically correct, Sarah? I tried to rearrange it to avoid the dreaded dangling preposition, but I cannot for the life of me confirm its correctness on these few blessed hours of sleep on which I am running. All I know is that that sentence is an English teacher's nightmare). So we texted a few texts, and I found it tremendously funny that I was texting my friend's father.

Fast-forward to today at 5:28PM. Another unknown number. Another mysterious text materialized out of nowhere. "He haw." That's all it said. So I 321q. SORRY. Stupid fly. So I came back with the getting-popular-by-the-arcane-text reply of "May I ask who this is?" A little while later, their reply: "This is don WoodBury. Did I send u a text Lex?" HahahahahHA. I honestly loled. How is this happening? So weird. I just thought you guys might "get a kick out of that," to quote some old people.

Anyhow. I feel that I should post a picture with this post. So I'll try. Who knows what it'll be. Enjoy it, whatever it is.

And maybe let me know if anyone else's dad wants to grace my phone with a mysterious text.

  2. Not quite grammatically correct. But a lack of sleep will do the trick. "...replied to everyone to whom Candace had sent the message..." Oh dangling prepositions. At least you know how to spell "grammatically" correctly, unlike many.

    And that is absolutely hilarious.
